    what would do it (for me at least) is bringing the Material dialog box already launched in the respective program and keeping it on top, and whatever is updated in Enscape is updated in the respective program be it Rhino / Sketchup / Revit. The fact that the dialog box keeps disappearing is what disrupts the workflow.

Like this function! Now I'm using Enscape for Rhino and previously Enscape for Revit. They all require changing materials in Rhino/Revit, which is not that convenient, and sometimes confusing when you jump between different applications.

For revit links this would be useful. Typically mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) models do not often have materials applied. It would be nice to override these link models for streamlined walkthroughs.

It would overall increase the productivity and work flow of renders, and a common complaint in the office using Enscape is having to go back and forth between Enscape and Revit to edit materials that aren't already in Enscape.

Especially related to surrounding objects this would be very useful. Changing materials in Revit takes a lot of time and the final tweaking directly in Enscape would save a lot of time (and frustration)

This would save time for rapid changes within the Enscape window. Though in part it would also be nice for once these changes have been accepted the new material change is reflected in the CAD software as not to add further confusion of materials.
