Currently if you want make a material slightly less reflective (for example), it can be an ordeal to figure out what material is exactly on that piece (in programs like Revit, there's not always a straightforward way to do this), then you need to go find this material in the material editor (but it might not show up because it's not a Revit generic material). Now you need to go back to Revit material editor, duplicate to generic and open the enscape material again...
The hope is that a 'material sampler' tool could make this process a lot easier.
