Enscape can have an added ability to improve more number of light bounces, better ambient occlusion, more realistic renderings and thus improved global illumination. As we see real time rendering will be and should be an integrated part of presentation for Architects. However, I feel Enscape renders have much scope left to improve lightings and Global Illumination.
Our development teams are constantly working on improvements of the rendering quality and performance. The latest noticeable example for global illumination was the addition of a multibounce global illumination functionality introduced in Enscape 3.5.
