I propose integrating a dedicated Enscape Lights Tool for Archicad users, similar to what is available for SketchUp. Currently, Enscape struggles to fully render Archicad's native lights, especially linear ones, limiting the quality and accuracy of lighting in visualizations. By implementing an Enscape-native lighting system within Archicad, users would achieve better rendering results without relying on workarounds.
Although we can understand your frustration with the light system of Archicad, we are not planning to introduce the Enscape native lights to another host application.
Instead, we are investigating the issues you described.
Additionally, we are planning to provide a host application independent light management tool in the future that might also help.
