It would be useful a material for shadow catcher
Thank you for your suggestion! A shadow catcher material is indeed a useful tool for compositing 3D objects into different backgrounds while preserving realistic shadows. However, this workflow is primarily suited for rendering and post-production.
Enscape focuses on real-time visualisation and design decision-making, and implementing a shadow catcher would mainly serve aesthetic purposes rather than supporting quantitative daylight metrics or improving design workflows. Given this, we don’t plan to add a shadow catcher material at this time.
