The ability to set a haze that makes objects far off in the distance fade out or disappear, while retaining the foreground. Sketchup already has this feature built-in called "Display Fog", that is controllable via-percentages with 2-sliders.
This is useful to blank out unwanted geometry like the horizon-line and create beautiful rolling hills that layer off into the distance for large models.
This feature would require a complete rework of our current fog implementation and would cause a significant performance decrease (if used).
Although this effect might be useful, we rather want to invest the necessary resources into features that are more impactful.
The current "fog" does not really give the effect we are usually looking for. Whether it is a new "haze" parameter, or an addition to the fog controls - (even though it may not be how "fog" physically works) - some kind of distance control with near/far/falloff parameters would be a welcome addition.
