Hardware checks/benchmarks should be done during the installation process to prevent users with insufficient hardware from using the software and notifying them that their hardware does not meet the minimum system requirements.
We totally agree that a system check process could be very helpful for users. But if the hardware is only checked when the software is installed, this is already too late in the process in our opinion. We are currently evaluating a functionality that would allow a system check earlier on.
