The online platform for Enscape users to submit, vote, and collaborate on creative suggestions.
To expand Enscape’s asset library and foster collaboration between users and companies, I propose the introduction of a cloud-based asset-sharing platform. This platform would allow users, manufacturers, and design firms to upload and share high-quality 3D models of furniture, lighting, sanitary ware, and more—similar to 3D Warehouse or BIM libraries. By creating a massive, user-driven library of Enscape-compatible assets, designers could easily access a wide variety of models, ensuring realistic and diverse visualizations.
This initiative would also benefit manufacturers by providing them a space to showcase their products, while designers gain access to an ever-growing repository, improving both efficiency and creativity in project development.
Although we can see the potential benefits of a user driven cloud based Custom Asset Library, legal implications that would require us to review each and every uploaded object as well as ensuring Enscape's quality and performance requirements are causing risks that we are not willing to take.
