To improve the workflow and efficiency for designers, propose adding a feature in Enscape that allows users to directly integrate assets from their projects. This functionality would streamline the design process by accepting CAD file formats (such as .3dm or .SKP) without needing to convert them to intermediary formats like .fbx or .obj, which often introduce compatibility issues. By allowing seamless import of native CAD formats, designers can focus on creativity and precision, ensuring better coordination between 3D models and visualizations.
Although we can understand the need to support more file formats for our Custom Asset Library to remove a step in converting the objects, we rather want to focus on proprietary file formats than on application specific formats.
