Even if you use 4K textures, Enscape downgrades them to 2K. Close-up renders, especially in Product 3D Visualization look unprofessional and unacceptable!
• We cannot get too close to our furniture to show the fine wooden textures we produce.
• We cannot get close to show the texture of our PET Felt acoustic panels.
• The labels on our custom-modelled branding paperware (books, ring binders, pencils, blanks etc) look like dumpster fire.
• We have created 3D electronics (PC monitors, notebooks, cellphones) but we cannot get close to them because the screenshots of the displays look pixelated as if out of 2000s graphics.
This is NOT normal in 2024. Fix this please!
! Utilize a proximity algorithm, that we can adjust in the settings, so that whenever the nearest object to the camera is within X range, Enscape removes the texture cap and the 4Ks show as they're supposed to.
! Or enable a toggle on/off in the menus to exclusively utilize maximum texture size, Like SketchUp does.
! Create a 5th Rendering Quality under the Visual Settings if you have to
But don't leave those of us who have the hardware power to beg for crumbs. Enscape is the only program currently in the market that can render several hundred renderings within 10 minutes. That speed is important to us, but it's equally important that the 4K textures don't get downscaled.
We merged this with a very similar idea to keep the Portal tidy.
