Enscape Assets should become a dynamic part of creating drawing sets as well as populating scenes for renderings / video walkthroughs. If Designers are going to take the time to carefully place Enscape Assets into their projects, the Assets might as well serve double duty and help create necessary documents like furniture plans or lighting plans for instance. It is possible to associate a clean 2D depiction of the Asset within the Asset Family (for Revit Enscape Assets) or there is the option of giving the linework of the Asset (triangulation lines) a Parameter that can be controlled in Revit -- so there are options out there, it's just a matter of the large time commitment to implement them now that the Asset library is quite robust. A shame this wasn't implemented earlier when the Asset Library was smaller and more manageable and then when new Assets were introduced, they would be offered with an option of a Clean 2D depiction for 2D views. Seems like an item that was kicked down the road and now it has become a task that would have initially been manageable but has snowballed into an ice chunk the size of Iceland.
