I want to be able to render down to like 100 pixels in a video just to check lighting. The reason I am making this suggestion is I was unable to quickly export 480p for a quick video check before final rendering.
Thank you for sharing your use case and explaining why you wanted to render at a lower resolution for video checks. We set 500x500px as the minimum resolution for both images and videos to avoid rendering artifacts that can appear at lower sizes. Even though 480px is close, applying the limit consistently keeps things simple and prevents quality issues.
For quick checks, you can lower quality settings, use the live viewport, or export short segments at 500px instead. This way you still get fast results without risking the visual glitches caused by very low resolutions.
Hey there,
can you elaborate a little on your idea?
How would 480 be a lot different to 500?
Why do you need to render a video with very, very low quality to check lighting, if you can simply move around in better quality right away?
Would be curious about your use case.
