Showing simple lines within flat surfaces

Why is it useful to show simple lines or at least some of them or at least have an option in the software? Because it is 2024 and time is money and in lot of cases, the rendered picture doesn't have to be perfect therefore if a line would do the job easier instead of a 3D part why can't we have that as an option in the render sofware? Lines as invisible, at least we should have the option to have them visible or not. Still, almost all renderer software requires 3D geometry, and any flat surfaces without variation in the extrusion or thickness, would not show their edges so simple lines on a 2D flat surface or 3D objects won't be shown. How about if I need them? Who could use it? Everyone. I have a huge kitchen door library that only shows vector lines where and how the details will be I know a whole bunch of people who build their libraries the same way and no one can render their job.

    Thank you for your feedback!
We understand the request, however it didn't receive upvotes. The need is about being able to visually reflect the design intention as an output on the renderer side without spending much time and effort. We think that, there are other ways to address this need, and we are working on it. Addressing the need with this solution serves a niche use case and comes up with it's own complexity.
