Print Screen Quality Rendering

I would like to suggest a potentially significant time saving option when rendering images.

First - some context. The “Screenshot” button in Enscape is misleading. It’s not a screenshot - it’s a Rendering (says “rendering” in roll over description). Can we change the text description to “Render”? Otherwise, it’s confusing to the customer to call the tool “Screenshot”.

Okay…on to the main event. :)

  1. Enscape_2024-08-27-15-17-33.jpg: 3440 × 1361dpi. 1min to save at Window (and full screen)

  2. Enscape_2024-08-27-15-31-17.jpg: 3840 × 2160 dpi. 2min to save at Ultra HD.

  3. Screenshot (6).PNG: 3440 × 1361 dpi. <1sec to save via Print Screen (full screen).

IMO minimal loss of quality when comparing image saved via Print Screen vs rendering. Considerable time savings when batch rendering. 30 images in 30sec vs 30min to 1hr.

Proposed: Enscape contain another Capture setting for “Print Screen” quality for saving single images or batch rendering. Is it even possible for Enscape to initiate a Print Screen?

Feedback / Thoughts welcome.
