I'd also love to see this in Sketchup. It would be so much easier to click on material in enscape window to change it, instead of searching for it through the list...

This would speed up early phases of projects when testing out various materials.

Would allow me to work much quicker as I don’t model in sketchup but rather import models from Chief Architect to Sketchup.  This feature would save me so much time!!!
