The online platform for Enscape users to submit, vote, and collaborate on creative suggestions.
Enable the ability to embed physically accurate audio into Enscape walkthroughs, so clients can hear the acoustic impact of design decisions in addition to seeing them. These features would extend Enscape’s existing sound source infrastructure to support simulation-driven auralization with scene-based A/B comparison.
Scene-Triggered Audio & Visual States
Bind audio states (active sound object) to SketchUp scenes or Enscape saved views
Switching scenes changes both geometry (tag visibility) and the audio environment simultaneously
A single listener position can have multiple audio objects tied to it, toggled by the scene trigger (to change the audio condition at a single point)
Listener Position Navigation
Listener position markers tied to specific audio objects, with annotations describing each position
Listener positions accessible via an easily navigable list in the UI
Quick-nav controls to teleport directly to any listener position
Impulse Response Support
Import acoustic simulation impulse responses (IRs)
Convolve dry audio files (speech, music, crowd noise) with IRs for real-time playback during walkthroughs
Spatial / Directional Audio
Accept B-format (first-order) or higher-order ambisonic impulse responses
Head-tracking in VR viewer, rotation directly rotates the decoded soundfield
