We've been bitten several times by new versions of Enscape introducing not only bug fixes, but new features as well. Those new features tend to add new bugs as well. So instead of having one version of Enscape including both bug fixes and new features, I would like to have two versions - a stable version that only receives bug fixes and a version with bug fixes and new features.

Thank you for your feedback and constructive criticism. We've switched to Continuous Delivery method which gives us chance to provide bug-fixes earlier, and also enables us to receive feedback earlier.
Actually, we're doing something similar as you've suggested, we are releasing our "Preview" releases in the middle of the month before the initial releases, that includes the new upcoming functionality and most of the time we capture valuable feedback to address issues before the initial release. Checking the number of bug count for the last years and comparing continuous delivery with 3-4 fixed releases per year approach, we can gladly say that we're in a better place.
