Its so hard now to turn skp components into proxy and RE-inserting them on the project! Its a waste of time.

Not exactly a new idea. I just bought my Enscape for Sketchup license and found that while xbox controllers are compatible with Windows PCs, it is a feature that is not available to Mac users.
